The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour parts of Jakarta on Sunday (12/12).

Remember, rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will hit parts of South in the late afternoon

"Remember, rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will hit parts of South in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

In the afternoon, BMKG issued that South and East Jakarta will see rain with light intensity; clear cloudy in West, Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Then at night, light rain to hit West, South and East Jakarta. Then Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands will be cloudy.

Entering at dawn, most regions would be clear cloudy, except in Thousand Islands.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands will be 23 to 32 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 65 to 95 percent.
